2 Group Health Options

The two options available are based on the health status of all those who will be included on your plan.

Option 1

For healthy individuals and families.

If your family is in good health, Option 1 gives you the flexibility to choose from three levels of major medical (BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, PHCS networks) or limited medical coverage (First Health Network).

For everyone else.

If you or your loved ones are managing pre-existing or chronic conditions, our healthcare navigators will personally guide you through the process of finding an affordable plan that meets your healthcare needs.

FAQs

When is the enrollment period?

The initial enrollment period begins on November 1 and runs through December 18, 2025, for an effective date of January 1, 2026. However, you can enroll any time during the year by the 18th of the month for coverage the 1st day of the following month.  The plans re-set every year on January 1st.

How do I get a quote?

Finding out the cost of each plan is pretty straightforward. Costs are fully transparent and age banded. You can choose the coverage you want and simply check the ‘All-Plans Chart’ and look at the age of the primary member. You can select the deductible that best suits you and the price is listed for each category.

Is the benefit available in all 50 states?

Plan availability varies by state. While options exist nationwide, some states may offer a limited selection due to state-sponsored programs.

When is the enrollment period?

What if I don’t qualify for Option 1?

If you do not qualify for the Option 1  you still have options. You can contact our partner who offers Option 2. They have a team of healthcare navigators who will work with you to find the most affordable and comprehensive plan for you and your family.

Who can buy the plans?

Option 1 is for healthy individuals and families. Option 2 Plan is designed specifically for those without certain pre-existing conditions, chronic illnesses, and who are not taking expensive specialty medications. There is an 11-question survey that must be completed to affirm qualification.

Who owns the plans?

The plans are owned by Iron Health Benefits.

Who is responsible for paying claims?

Iron Health Benefits utilizes a commonly owned Third-Party Administrator—Detego Health—to administer the plans, provide customer support and to pay claims.
